Hi! My name is Kristen and I am president of the HRMA for the 2011/2012 school year. I’m currently entering my 5th and final year at Brock in the BBA Co-op program, with a concentration in HR. Over the past year I have worked in the HR departments of two very different organizations, giving me a lot of hands on experience. I’m very excited to be involved with the HRMA this year, as we are planning some great events. I encourage anyone who wants to learn more about HR to attend, as well as get involved with the HRMA itself. If you have any questions get in touch with any of the executives and we can give you information about what we have planned and how to get invovled. I hope to see many of you at our events this year!

Hey! My name is James and I am the Vice President of the HRMA for the 2011/2012 academic year. I am currently in my 5th year at Brock in the BBA program with a concentration in HR. I started a little over a year ago with the HRMA as a general member and it excites me to be taking on an executive role this year. Getting involved is an essential step in the university experience and we are here to provide you with those events and activities. I am a very down to earth and if you ever want to discuss anything in the field of HR or even non business related ones feel free to contact me! Hey! My name is Jane and I am a fourth year Business student with a concentration in Human Resources. In my last three years at Brock, I have been part of DECA U and the HRMA, and I am very excited to be taking on this Executive role with the HRMA. I have completed three co-op terms – one with FOB Academic Advising here at Brock, and two at the Ministry of Transportation. If you have an interest in HR, I encourage you to take advantage of our events and information resources, as this can help you build your network and learn more about HR.

This allowed me to expand and apply my knowledge and skills in many areas of business—and I found HR to be the most interesting function of business.
